DJB 93B is the car that Rauno Aaltonen & Tony Ambrose used to win the 1965 RAC Rally. Timo Makinen led the rally from an early stage in the mighty Austin Healey 3000. The rally was beset with heavy snow and conditions certainly favoured the nimble front wheel drive Mini. Makinen went into the last nights stages with a 6 minute advantage over Aaltonen, but an "off" on a snowy ice covered hill allowed Rauno to slip past and go on to win the rally.
