LBL 6D is the car that Rauno Aaltonen & Henry Liddon used to win the 1967 Monte Carlo Rally. Carrying the number 177 this 1275cc Mini Cooper S achieved a fourth mini monte victory and more than made up for the lighting fiasco and disqualification the year before. A rule change for this year meant that teams could select tyres for use to be carried on or in the competing car, thus forsaking a penalty. Cars observing this rule were identified by a yellow backing to the competition number hence the yellow door square seen on this car.
