1934 Alfa Zagato (Grille) Canvas Wrap

Close up study of the front grille of a very rare 1934 Alfa Romeo 8C2300 Spider Zagato

This car was purchased in 1934 by leading Italian powerboat racer Abrogio Castiglioni. During his ownership he commissioned Zagato to build a stunning spider body for the car. This body was retained until 1950 when it was rebodied by Colli as a touring Coupẻ.

The present owner commissioned an extensive restoration by Cognolato of Italy to faithfully recreate the beautiful Zagato Spider Body. One word sums up this car - stunning!

I caught up with this car in 2010. It was a pleasure to be able to view and photograph this masterpiece of coach building and Italian engineering.

We offer you the unique opportunity to purchase a Giclee Canvas Wrap image printed from the original photograph by Marcus Pomfret.
